Commissioning a bespoke piece of jewellery is a personal and exciting journey, a chance to create a jewel that is uniquely yours.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply indulging a desire for something one of a kind, this personalised approach guarantees a piece that is not just beautiful, but also deeply meaningful.

It begins with an initial meeting at Michael's studio mews in Islington, or privately at your home, to talk about your taste and the vision for your piece. This is then translated into a series of hand-drawn sketches for you to choose from.
With the final design agreed, the relevant gemstones are then sourced from the global market. From there, the commission is entrusted to skilled goldsmiths who bring the creation to life in precious metal at the bench.
The finished piece is hallmarked in London, a mark of provenance and quality, before being presented in a handmade Italian fine-leather box, completing your commission.
Michael guides you expertly through every stage, sharing progress along the way so you stay involved throughout, for complete peace of mind and an enjoyable experience.
Family heirloom pieces are often found tucked away in jewellery boxes, and every so often a beautiful gem is rediscovered- a European-cut diamond, perhaps, or a coloured gem whose facets have softened with age. If feasible, Michael would be happy to incorporate your gem into a new commission, embellished with additional stones.
